I can't believe I didn't notice during the FOUR times I took them off to check the seats!

I'm generally a stickler for details, I'm loosing my edge!!

Just a shake is all it takes. That's why I like the brass floats.The nitrophyl floats you can't do that with.

That's very true, but there IS a way to tell if they are compromised. Pinch them firmly with your thumb and index finger. If they are compromised, the pressure from the pinch will make a wet spot where you pinched them.

Yes they do turn soggy. You could weigh them with the right scale if there was a spec. May be there is.
