That's very true, but there IS a way to tell if they are compromised. Pinch them firmly with your thumb and index finger. If they are compromised, the pressure from the pinch will make a wet spot where you pinched them.Just a shake is all it takes. That's why I like the brass floats.The nitrophyl floats you can't do that with.
