Have you seen these videos on youtube?

Here's one with the Foo Fighters playing in London and are joined on stage by Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones to play "Rock & Roll".

Here's another video from Dec 2, 2012 where Ann & Nancy Wilson from Heart are playing "Stairway to Heaven" with Jason Bonham (John Bonham's son) on drums. There were also many other celebrities backing them up like Buddy Guy, Foo Fighters, and Lenny Kravitz, and a full orchestra.

All three surviving members of Led Zepplin were sitting together in the audience. They also show many famous people in the crowd, including the Obama's. You can see Jimmy Page really enjoyed the whole show and him and Robert Plant were wiping tears from their eyes by the end. Check it out!

Yea Im a huge Led Zeppelin fan, and that was on CBS for the Kennedy Center Honors last fall. Hearts version of Stairway was awesome with Jason Bonham and the orchestra.

My wife and I went to the Heart/Jason Bonham's "Led Zeppelin Experience" show last year.

We really enjoyed it, but...

Last month My wife won tickets to "Classic Albums Live", who performed the entire "Houses of the Holy" album, and then two more sets of Zep material.

That group was actually MUCH better, and I highly recommend them to anyone, especially given the respective prices.

They also have other theme shows including Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Van Halen.

Thanks for all the good comments and additional posts!

For those of you that also like Rush, here's a short interesting interview with Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee explaining how they met Led Zepplin:

Love me some get the Led out. And you know....I really like Rush too, but it's strange. They are kinda like early A bodies. Either you slap love um or you hate um. I've heard some say what they play ain't even music. That's just never made sense to me.

One of the few bands, that have gotten better with time,is Rush.Loved "Exit,Stage Left" live. I always liked " Grace Under pressure".

:headbang: Yep...Zeppelin's one of, if not the favorite rock band for me. Hearing Jimmy Pages tearing up those classic licks on the first album all those years ago got me hooked on playing guitar. He's probably been the biggest influence in my playing. (and I'm sure he's influenced many others!)

I saw the 'The Yardbirds' at Anderson Theatre in New York.

March 1968

A great band on stage.

I'm thinking, that Lead Guitarist is not half bad. He may go places someday.

I wonder whatever happened to him.

OK, I am a BIG fan of both Led Zep and Foofighters.
If you like them both, and have never heard of "Them Crooked Vultures", well you are in for a surprise.

John Paul Jones of Led Zep, Dave Grohl of the Foo & Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age formed one bad-*** band!

Here's one link but go ahead and google "Them Crooked Vultures Austin City Limits" for some really great material.

The original band, is so raw and so brutal. It's like Jimi Hendrix, this will never pass this way again.

All three of them!

I'm actually more of a Jeff Beck version fan, but hey, they sure picked some winners.
