Front Disc conversion

Hello,

I have a question about a front disc conv. on a a body
I have got front spindles, upper control arm and ball joints.

Do I need to replace the lower ball joints too??

The original are not lining up with the spindles.

Any help would be appreciated.

if it is the large bolt pattern conversion you are talking about, then, yes, you need the ball joints for a later model A-body with discs.(73 and up)

Thank you for the info and great thread. I also call the local parts store to see if the part #'s were the same. Confirmed they were different. There are 1 for the left and one for the right.

Just did this swap last night, they are different. Larger bolts holding them onto the spindle for sure. Didn't examine the rest.
