the guy is some what of a hack , but I really, and I mean really, love the drama free actual car building and the back ground music. every car building show producer should watch it and take a few pages from it. I look forward to it every week and cant wait for next season. any one else watch it

Yup....Never miss an episode. Most of the stuff he does is off the wall but he's my type of fabricator. I was amazed to watch how he made the bubble for that bubble top car.

After spending some time hanging around a fab shop, a non-televised one, I just can't watch any of the scripted nonsense...

that was really cool and one of my favorite 2 part episodes. like you say , some off the wall stuff , but very interesting. non stop fabrication and building, absolutely zero social drama.

watch just one episode Doug , I think you will be surprised how good it is. believe me, im the first to turn off any of that scripted BS, but this show is actually good.

Have DirecTV, any guess as to a channel #? Will be able to find it with just a network name and day it is on....will check it out.

i like the show he did a ratrod cool
i think thats my next build is a rad rod

I really enjoy this show. As others have said, zero unnecessary drama, part of why I like it.

But the main reason I like it is because the guy is really creative and talented. He can look at something and visualize how it should be. He is really good at using stuff that's sitting around and available to do what he wants to achieve, instead of buying a lot of stuff.

He has good fabrication skills too. Some of his shop equipment looks homemade. The trial and error routine that he used to figure out how to form the bubbletop showed those skills, problem solving one step at a time until you get what you want.

The builds he did in the first season where a really interesting mix of totally different projects. So far the second has been as well.

I liked the old truck cab he grafted onto a modern roll-off truck. We own a trash/roll-off business. Might have to resurrect our old '63 Kenworth

Currently, my favorite car show. A consistent builder, who actually does the work,in front of the camera.

I am missing a good show it sounds like.. I will see if I can find anything on the computer about this and report back if I can indeed watch it.

Bringing back this thread as I'm watching a new 4/25/15 episode. Really cool build if you like things that are different. He's building a car based on a cartoon truck drawing.

Umm...

You might want to start a new thread in the carb section for help.
