so this morning im fixing one of our barstools as everyone is getting ready
these are old, but her parents gave them to us, and her dad had reupholstered them once so the wife really cares for them

i was showing her how the screws that hold the legs together just spin since the thread is stamped in the inside of the leg and just stripped out

ive fixed a few of em before and the way i handle it is to take it apart, and put a nut on the inside, then put the screw in to keep it tight and glue it in place

then, when the hot glue cools, i can pull the screw out, put it all together and the nut will hold it all together

so shes looking at it, and she goes, you know what you should have used?

so i go...what?

without missing a beat she says, robertson drive screws
