Kurt Angle won his gold medal BEFORE becoming a professional wrestler (and he did it after suffering a broken neck in the semis of the National Trials, of all things).
Mad Dog Vashon, Bad News Brown, Mark Henry, and the Gables are among some other Olympic wrestlers who later turned pro.
And for the heck of it, Ronda Rousey is a former Olympian, too.
