I have a spare 3650 five speed trans out of a 2006 Mustang GT, and a decent clutch. Anybody out there tried to adapt this trans to a gen3? It is a one piece case and bell housing, starter on the pass side and hydraulic TOB.
Hmm, that would be interesting with the one piece case/bellhousing. Any adapter would space the trans back a bit and potentially pull the input shaft out of the pilot bearing. I suppose you could cut the flange off the bellhousing and weld another one to it though. That could help to manage spacing better.
