General Lee on ebay

It is very difficult to sue someone if you don't have their address to serve them papers. I had a similar deal on ebay about a year ago. I was high bidder on a Neon for $400 and when the auction ended he would not resopnd to my emails so I contacted ebay and they said to keep trying and work it out with the seller. I then contacted ebay a week or so later requesting his personal info like address so I can serve him papers and ebay said they would not give me his personal info. They said the only way they will give me the info was if I got a court order stating that they had to release the info to me. So chock these deals up as just people riddled with the dumb *** and move on.

They need to do to the Dukes bidder and Chucks seller what Pirate4x4.com did to this guy. WARNING!! Coarse language ahead! If you are easily offended, do not click on this link! Pirate4x4.com does NOT screw around when it comes to their members getting ripped off. :evil2:

thas kinda funny since they say that posting a bid is a legally binding contract to pay. posting an auction makes it legally binding that you must sell, no?
 
hmm.. my mopar buddy's wife has a REAL general lee parade car, 383, with signatures. not a built by a cast member car.
she paid a WHOPPING $2000 for it. Its in excellent shape and she drove it for a long time. When the engine started knocking a little, she parked it under a car cover in the garage.
$2000 is ridiculously priced too, but not because its expensive.
no way ever would i pay $3 million for a car, even if god built the motor and jesus himself tuned it, it was made of gold, and was 1 of 1.

I would prefer an engine built and tuned by satan ;-)

If I had the money, and I really wanted the item, whether it be a car or whatever, I would pay millions for it.

I read a lot of that a while ago, and the server they were using kept crashing due to the amount of hits, didn't see that it went to 73 pages...That guy got his, and anyone that knows him will probably remind him about it once in a while.LOL
