Sometimes you just have to do that to keep the family safe. You're a good manWell wife was starving so I fixed her some lunch. She decided she didn’t like it so I took it up the mountain and tossed it out.

Very conscientious of you. That looks like it should make some good compost and reduce the load on the landfill.Well wife was starving so I fixed her some lunch. She decided she didn’t like it so I took it up the mountain and tossed it out.

And you got real Bears, we just got little ol Black Bears! All I'd get is bears.
Yup, kinda gotta keep your eyes open around here. And you got real Bears, we just got little ol Black Bears!
We do have a pair of resident Bobcats tho. But man they are reclusive. But they are fun to watch hunting in the pasture. They take the coyote hop to a whole nother level.Yup, kinda gotta keep your eyes open around here.
You never know when or where them critters might show up. Keep the apple trees cleaned up.
I walked out of the house early a couple years a go and had a sow griz and 2 of her cubs up in the apple trees. They sure did scar up the bark. Been pretty quiet this year. Not many chokecheries again this year but man was the Huckleberries thick.
That's pretty cool. I've only seen one Bobcat. Had a cool interaction with a wolverine. We do have a pair of resident Bobcats tho. But man they are reclusive. But they are fun to watch hunting in the pasture. They take the coyote hop to a whole nother level.
I wish, I ended up in Missouri doing a four day training block during the season (muzzle loader). I will now have to wait till modern gun. Our boys were all successful tho. Reckon our family won’t starve! I guess I need to start bow hunting but holy smokes a guy can only have so many black holes for money!@Sublime one : did you shoot s deer yet?
Working alone has it's challenges.Starting on second bay shelter today. And of course one of the leadership committee. Sometimes it just suks being a pup! Since I work alone I use a lot of cribbing and clamps.

Sounds like a Dad opportunity to me! Cut grass all summer is rifle, take out trash all winter is ammo, clean cat box (if applicable) priceless! Dishwasher duty for new camo coat as they grow at that age faster than they can wear out the clothes! Knife, keep room clean. Etc etc etc!Ain’t that the truth!!
