I stumbled upon this site when looking up various info before finally purchasing my 1974 dodge dart. Im happy to find such an active community for the A body cars out there and look forward to sharing my journey with my baby...I picked her up just a little over a week ago and love it so much already! 1974 dodge dart im her fourth owner.. and of course it needs some loving but ive happily dove into it and look forward to the countless hours required ;). I have kept a careful log of my day to day work on it and look forward to sharing it... its got a 225 slant six (which requires a new headgasket) and probably a lot of front and rear end work.. Matching numbers and the interior is in pretty damned good shape!
Anyhow.. Ill stop rambling on..... Heres a few pics!

What makes you think it needs a head gasket? Oil leaks, poor performance, bad compression, white smoke?

Welcome aboard.

Good score on that 74, looks pretty clean!

Very nice, I don't know how I ended up with a '64, I always wanted something more like that one.

Welcome aboard! That looks like a fine score. Make yourself at home and don't be shy with the questions.

Great looking car and welcome!

I bought my college attending daughter a 74 Dart with a 318 from a friend who had bought it for his daughter while she was in college. My daughter loved her car.

Nice Dart...is that a Model A truck cab? What are your plans for that?

Wow good eye, didnt even see that.

Maybe an iron hemi with hilborn injection, spindle mounts in front and pie cut slicks in the back....with about 5 inches whacked out the top :)

Welcome aboard, Great people , Great cars, and a stack of info

The oil is seeping from the head, Im going to run a compression test on it once I get the car back on the ground which in all general theory, should be today... just finished changing the tranny and diff fluids, then back down it goes... There is no white smoke, she runs clean, and the oil is clean (other then the damned grime and sludge from probably never being changed) no signs of any other fluids mixed in.. not a huge leak but enough to make it nice and dirty...
