I am having trouble with a couple of items on the fender tag, I can't find any information on Z2 or the 4 of the tire size 284

Does this look right?
From dodgecharger.Org

It is 100% correct on my dart.

My 67 dart convert was built a month before yours!

67 convertible with air conditioning, how rare is that?

not as rare as you might think, I know of 3 just in Colorado.

not to mention convertibles are COOL just not cool.

BTW because you have a 67 you can request a copy of your cars IBM card from Stellantis historical

Does the car have headrests? On both seats?
A friend was putting his 67 dart back together. When I visited him he showed me the buckets he was going to put in.

Black 67 dart GT bucket seats with correct 67 only head rests on both.

The Holy Grail of interior parts, on par to the heater / radio bezel.

Correct, 67 A-Body headrest are rare.
The only 67 Dart option code**2 I could find that might be the Z-2 is 532, Head Restraint - Right
I thought I had a picture of a 67 with a driver side only headrest, couldn't find it.

Interesting...
I will check the seats and see if they have head rests or 1 or none...
Sorry to disappoint, the color is Viper blue, it's my daughters car her choice.
Over $7k just to chrome and polish all the metal!!!

Do you know what dealer your car was delivered to.

What part of CA are you in?

Mine was delivered to claud short dodge in Santa Monica.

My dad special ordered it

I do not know the dealer, it was registered in SoCal in 1969 and the bank that held the loaned was also in SoCal, so I am jumping to the conclusion that it was sold in SoCal. I'm in the other end of the state.

No headrests, we have owned the car since around 1985, previous history is original owner gave it to her son about 1981

I have 2 pristine build sheets for my car and access to another 67 dart convert fender tag.

We might be able to piece together what some of the codes mean.

Your fender tag is very close to mine.

But mine is a split bench with no power anything and tinted front window only.

It is a factory front disk car with the Rallye package. Sway bar, hd ball joints, 6 leaf rear springs.

The Z-2 is likely 642 Delete Spare Tire
That goes with the 284, the 4 being set of 4.

Alan

Just figured out the 215 on mine and the 284 on yours

21 describes the tire 6.95 x14 BSW
28 is D70X14 red streak

The last digit is how many tired.

5 is 5 tires
4 is 4 tires

So

215 is 5x 6.95 x 14 BSW
284 is 4x D70x14 read streak (required on AC convertibles)
