I got the FR column to replace my original column shift to floor shift. I have the adapter to make the turn signal/hazard wiring connect to the new column so no issue there. My issue is with the ignition wiring.

The first photo is the diagram for the new column with four wires while the second is the OE connector with many more wires. Does anyone have a diagram showing the new wiring connecting to the old?

That looks like GM and you may have to do some additional. What are you doing for an ignition system specifically? More important, does your ignition system use a BALLAST RESISTOR?

It "looks like" they have a separate feed for IGN power the one pink. What you need to do is determine if the IGN output stays "live" during cranking."

If you are employing a ballast resistor, it gets a bit more in depth...................

CAN YOU POST A LINK to the destructions for that thing?

I am using an MSD HEI type distributor, so no ballast needed. The wiring harness had no instructions but just what I posted in the first picture in the general instructions. Here is what I've come up with so far:

S2-18Y-Start / Purple
Q2-12BK-Accessory / Brown
J2-16DBL-IGN1 / Pink
J3-14BR-IGN2 / Pink
J1-12R-Battery / Red

Does this sound right?

Don't know without checking. You need to take a continuity device and see what is happening with the new switch.

1....S2-18Y-Start / Purple This is your "start" wire goes to the start relay in place of normally yellow Hot ONLY in "start"

2....Q2-12BK-Accessory / Brown This is the accessory feed goes to the accessory buss in the fuse panel, hot in both "run" and "acessory"

3....J2-16DBL-IGN1 / Pink This sounds like "run" is hot ONLY in run goes dead during start

4....J3-14BR-IGN2 / Pink This for me is the ?? one check for sure that this is hot in start and if so jumper it to IGN1 above. This would have bypassed the resistor in start, but NORMALLY a GM based switch has no such thing, as this function is done by the GM starter solenoid "I" terminal.

5....J1-12R-Battery / Red Main feed to the switch from the battery.

The continuity tester confirmed my idea so wired it like that. Combined the IGN1 & IGN2 onto the FR pink wire. Everything works great. Thanks for the extra eyes on this for me.

Just as a PS to my Flaming River installation in case someone else wants to do this install:

Had to send the column back to FR because the mounting holes in the OE under dash mounting bracket did not line up with the holes in the FR column. Sent the mounting bracket to them and they changed the column mounting block to work with my bracket. The column was for an "A" Body Mopar with manual steering yet I had to cut 5 1/2" off of the "D" rod to fit. After mounting the under dash mount to the column the instructions say to put the floor mount (purchased separately) on the end of the column before installation. Nope. Take the bushing out of the floor mount, then mount the floor mount loosely to the firewall. Slide the floor mount bushing onto the column and install it. After cutting the "D" rod to fit, you'll need to use a grinder to slightly bevel the edge that goes onto the universal joint.
