What was used to cover the antenna hole on radio delete car?

I don't know I don't believe the fender had a hole to start with

but I do have one suggestion...............

"help," "question," "quick question," are never good titles for a thread

On my 66 Coronet, which was ordered without a radio, there is no hole in the fender.

Makes finding a replacement kind of a pin, if you're a stickler for those kind of details.

Some factory service manuals have templates for drilling the hole in the factory location, if a dealer installed radio was ordered.

My car does have a "factory" radio, bu has dual angled antennas, professionally installed on the quarters (~~~).

My 66 Valiant and 68 Dart both came radio delete, and neither of them have a hole in the fender. But, like the above pics, I have seen cars with plugs in the hole as well. Not sure what determined how a car would be delivered.

This works and is cheap.

All of the radio delete a and b bodies of the '60s and 70s that i have seen or owned had no hole in the fender from the factory.

Come to think of it, I have only seen the plugs for sale. I haven't seen one on a car, heck, I don't even know if they were original or home made.

No hole in the fender if radio delete was ordered.
The 78 power wagon that I have is a radio delete, and the dash insert is different, not a block off plate like the early models used.
