Hemi Yes or No

Hey Bob, not all has gone to the dogs, in fact I got your engine to the machine shop today, they should be starting on it soon!! Gonna be freaking sweet!

Thanks Mark, Here is the kinda Alpo we eat
Mark owns (at least one) restuarant and when we go to the Nat's he's
the one that's up all night watching the onions and peppers grilling on
a sheet pan so big that it covers all 4 burners on a stove. While this is
going on he is pouring full bottles of extra virgin olive oil (the only thing
"extra virgin" that he's likely to get close to) and slicing dozens of lemons
into coolers full of chicken breasts. Meanwhile aged steaks are ariving from
Pennsylvania.

All packed into coolers for the feeding extravaganza the next day.

I've never eaten so good!!!

(Thanks Mark)

Thanks I can't wait to get this thing rolling down the road or at least doin a little ground shaken. Tell everybody down in New Zeland it wasn't me causin all that mess mines still in pieces must have been Hemi Itis with that monster blower causing all the havoc.

Sean I really apreciate all your help with this thing.

Guys it's time for a little Hemi :wav:

Whatchu mean "little hemi"?? That's one of them small blocks with some kinda hemi head??:tongue3:

You are committed to the Hemi....Welcome to the club!!!!

Yep not much else I can do now except keep writing the checks to get this thing together. Sean's was great to do business with and has been very helpfull in getting me headed in the right direction.

I think I have decided on a cam finally it is hydrolic but should still wakeup the neighborhood when I roll in, and I think I am going to try a single carb setup for while to keep the costs down and dirveability up.

Any coments on what I got going on will be appreciated just don't want to make a big mistake at this point.

Well if your starting N/A,then maybe something like this would help ya out till ya boosted:wav:

Very nice but I have been there and done that and I don't want to take any chances with this block it's to nice but if I sell this one then one of those all aluminum jobs might just end up boosted or sprayed but thats for another time. You have too much cool stuff.

No more spray for me,sold off all the funny gas stuff:tongue3:

I would love to have blower but won't fit under the hood and I don't have garage to keep the car in when it's at the house only a cover and in florida with all the rain just not a great idea. But man that beast sure looks good.

What kind of rods do you run still gathering parts for my engine.

CP pistons,Manley h beams and a 4.5 stroke Callies crank.

More grate looking stuff, is that Bartons valvetrain?

What balancer are you guys running.
Also 68 Hemi Gts what bellhousing and headers are you running with the stick.

ATI is the best on dampers

i run a B/E body lakewood that i modified for the Z-bar. Hooker headers clear the 4 speed stuff fine, can't say the same for the steering of frame rails though. :cwm10:
