I guess it I just human nature to always think about the $ concerning bout everything, but I have found once something is sold, its gone, then later the $ was spent somewhere.. its gone too! ... maybe better to keep some things and don't worry about the $ !!??

The whole time I'm reading this thread I'm thinking it's in Hawaii! All its life. I'm kind of with Moper on this one. especially as the thread started out about its monetary value not about what it means to somebody or anything like that. Rare can mean a lot but also I've noticed that people will look at something rare and not even know it. I've scene people look at very rare pieces on my car knowing they've never seen it before and will never see it again and they never even knew it. The car would probably here in the states see a hundred people walk by your car at a car show and like four of them will know to stop and take an extra look because the car is ultra rare. Myself I've lived in Florida near the ocean and the Virgin Islands in the middle of the ocean and scene what just the salt air can do to a car. I love to see your optimism and your good attitude and I really hope the best.

I bought a 72 or 3 Satelitte that spent its life in Hawaii before it came to the states, it was real solid, nice car, but had been driven and dinged up some. I have had rust free cars out of Mn. that were never driven in the winter, but they were stuff like 440 -6 cars that people knew were special.
Years back I bought a 70 charger rt that had sat on the dirt, back in Missouri,no rear end, sitting on the bare K frame that had NO rust underneath! No floor rust, some rust in lower rear qtrs. only. Go figure!
