[FOR SALE] Hurst Vertigate Shifter

I have a Hurst Vertigate shifter it has some pitting in the chrome it still shines and a boot would probally cover it its not show guality but a good daily driver it upshifts and down shifts very well and very fast it comes with the mounting plate and the linkage rods

im putting a time period correct shifter in and a 4 speed tunnel its been fun but its time to let somebody else enjoy it $700.00 OBO I live in western NC

Do you know what model number it is?
Also, you seem to be saying it's not complete, or just missing the boot?

I don't know the model number but I will go by the shop and write them down ive been running it on a 71 Duster for 2 years it comes with the shifter,mounting plate and no linkage rods or boot

UPDATE the only number on the shifter is 3636793 and I got the linkage rods back I sold them to a friend of mine he said they wouldn't work so I bought them back they go with the shifter

If it's a Hurst, yeah. That was the name of their version.

Hurst was ram rod then one of them bought the other one. Then Hurst became Hurst V gate also.

Ram rod was the early Hurst I believe. V-Gate II is similar if not the same as the Mr. Gasket. V-Gate.
I didn't notice Ram rod instructions here though.

the old mr.gasket unit did not have stops. the Hurst has adjustable stops. the Hurst I bought new in 1996 was shifter 4118156 only, various install kits sold separately

That is the Vertigate model, the Ram Rod was a much better shifter. Here is a link to the Ram Rod.

that ones called the vgate 2. even said so on the shifter boot.
