ok some might know well maybe all might know, but i havent been the smartest in some of my post and im sorry. i want to apologive for all the smart *** remarks or anyhting that i have done from sales to receving info. I dont take no for an answer. Part of the reason im becoming a lawyer/paralegal with my brother. I have alot of pressure on me at this time in my life from school to hw to baseball and we have my sister her husband and my three neices living with us, so its really hectic. I know i know i should listen becasue most of you have lots of knowledge but its hard for me, but i will try my best to listen and comprehend thing you guys say from now on. so this is my "my bad" or sorry TO ALL

Have not noticed it my self:toothy4:
But I wake up in a new world every day,or try too:pirat:

Looks like you need to pm yourself

Well DB,this is the best thing you could have done.Manning up and saying I was wrong is the best thing you could have done, and I dont think there is a guy/gal on here that wont accept your appology for that.

Your goofiness (sp?) is kind of contagious, and quite frankly it wouldnt be the same without you.

However dont let it go to your head. The most important thing here is that you learn something. If you give a guy a good deal on a part, you will get a good deal on your next part. That is the nature of hot-rodding.
What goes around comes around.

Anyway...Great move kid.:salute:

Welcome back.

Not sure what the apologizing is all about but it must have been the Babes and Cars thread that straitened you out.

Dude, if you fvcked up in any way, you've obviously fessed up, so it's all good... .... I may have missed something important, but from what I've seen from you, you're just a young guy and you're growing older just like the rest of us ... Grow old, build fast cars, and have FUN !!!

Kenny

im not worried about at least you have enough guts to admit you are not perfect something a lot of people need to admit to sometimes. Justin

You get the biggest pat on the back/attaboy from me for what you just posted. :thumrigh:

Stress and annoying stuff around you will make you a quick patient of the looney bin. As tough as it may be, try to find a place you can go to chill. It's great therapy to just unwind without interruption. I know exactly how it feels living in a chaotic household.

Keep an even keel, remember your word, remain respectful and appreciative of help people offer, and nobody should ever give you crap.

Have a great night!

:wav: stand up fellow thats a good lad dont sweat it man you said what you thought and then cleared it up its easy to get carried away do what fills right, and do what you would want others to do to you heyy have a good christmas good luck on the bar if you get a chance at it:color:

It's somewhat admirable to post an apology to remain in the board's good graces but for those whose verbal agreements you reneged on (in the past 48 hours or so), may not be so understanding. I am not one to flip flop on how I view something without proof that a change will be made. Time will tell. Since you yourself picked the second choice on the poll, I will join you (but please do not expect a PM).

Now that's funny BigStrok3!!

I havn't noticed anything either. But then again, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes.

God forgives, so must we. I do not know what this is all about but GTXperience seems pretty shaken about it so I assume it is serious. But as I said....

In the big picture, it's not that serious but yes, I'm a little pissed. It's a little easier to "forgive and forget" when one is not involved with the direct problem. Also, with the younger generation, a "my bad" doesn't go along with me. When someone does me wrong (big or small), I don't change my mind right away because they send a "general population" apology and pat them on the back for it 48 hrs after they jerked me around. As mentioned before, time will tell.

Just to explain to those out there why this may seem so unusually important to me is that I took a long hiatus from the hobby years ago. Prior to leaving it, I grew up and built cars with "hand-shake" guys that would look you in the eye and you knew their word was gold. After getting back into the hobby, I found that there was a new breed of car enthusiasts out there that would screw you over and not think twice about it. Within three months of getting back into it, it happened to me with two separate Mopar guys and two separate cars. Those are long drawn out stories but one of them advertises in all the major Mopar magazines and is located in the Pacific Northwest. Hopefully, this explains my peeve when it comes to not keeping one's word when it comes to our hobby.

I've never dealt with DB15 but I have read some of his remarks..and well..if I don't care for what I'm reading I just hit the back button and move on. I do however agree with GTX.... a man is only good as his word and that's the way I was raised. If I tell you I'll do something, I will, and all I expect in return is the same courtousy if the situation is reversed. 'nough said.

Trust me I know exactly how you feel, I've been screwed over a lot of times and I keep on trusting people and I get screwed over again. I admit that sometimes I get so angry by the insane injustice that I become really dangerous and for moments I want my revenge but fortunately so far I have not damaged anyone over such matters, not recently anyway.
It is very important to me as well to be around people that their word is gold, I know I am that way but this is just how I was brought up... and YES I forgive but I do not forget easily and I am always careful with that particular person after being screwed over by.

DB15, you're still young, and if memory serves me correclty, I knew everything about anything at your age also. One thing I've learned in my more than half century in this old world is that momma Nature gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth so we could hear twice as much as we say. You only learn when your ears are working and your mouth isn't. :) Carry on.

OldVart - you hit it bang on. Myself, I was smartest at 18. I knew everything. No matter what I was told, I knew it "righter". Then I turned 19. Realized then that there was one or two things I didn't yet know. Jeez, when 20 came around, I found a few more. Next thing you know, I'm in my forties and getting dumber everyday!

Remember, the more you know - the more you relaize there is to know. LOL, I sound like an "old" person now.. thank goodness I still have my toys :)

if you go a day without learning something, you're probably dying or already dead.
