I wish it would go away too.
Takes a special tool just to add oil to it.

Heavy use of Torx bolts is annoying too ....not sure about BMW but my 19 Mercedes coupe even has a T40 torx for the oil drain plug and seems like every bolt in there is torx. Annoying-much because if they strip out, your're screwed because heads are rounded. The only good thing is I got it almost new so I am the first and only person working on it.

it also takes 9 and a half quarts ...WTH

Eh, those aren't the worst. My Buell uses T30 torx for like 90% of the fasteners and it's pretty nice, but I also have kept it inside so there's not really any rust issues that I'll ever have to deal with.

oh... have a seat fellas and let me tell you about Aprilia...

torx and allen heads in stainless or aluminum, all different sizes and there's a million of 'em on each machine.

i love, love, love their little 2T bikes (and *some* of their scooters) but they are a legit pain in all nine assholes to work on and get parts for.

the RS125 is a stupidly fun bike and begs to be ridden in a ridiculous manner.
