Don't know exactly about your car, but with the 4 big block A bodies that I built, (only 1 with fenderwell headers) I pull the steering column to get more room. That's just my preference. Good Luck!

I see you have a motor plate also. I think if you raise the engine and pull the column you should be clear. I have TTI 2” on my notch with motor plate

Didnt see they were fenderwell, the master might be in the way too

Don't know about a big block, or a later A, but when I had fender-well headers in my 65 Barracuda, all I had to do was unbolt them from the heads and from the exhaust pipes and lift them out. (Maybe remove the M/C, can't remember.) Easiest headers to remove ever.

It really depends on how much clearance you have on your inner fender cuts around the tubes. When my car still had inner fenders, I was able to unbolt the fenderwell headers, and lift them out. I had to twist them while lifting up to allow the contours of the tubes get through the fender holes. My car had pretty generous holes in the inner fenders, however. (I have since removed my inner fenders, and it makes working on the car much easier)

turn tires to opposite lock (Pass header/tires to left lock) to get them out of the way or remove them altogether.

Getting the flanges above the valve cover is the key IIRC.

Sawzall is awesome on the SB capture the center link headers.

This engine will have to be lifted to get them out
unbolt the header and lift the engine, from there it should be obvious what else heeds to be removed. It's not so cut and dry.
Installation and removal wasn't difficult with the Hooker fenders in my 67 Barracuda with a low deck, actually pretty easy, although not all applications are the same.
Good luck

I recall even with normal headers and a small block in an A body It was always easier to have the engine on a cherry picker and lower the passenger side header in as the engine was being set in place...

Captured steering link headers should be sawzalled in two before they're ever installed, just to get it over with.

If I ever get around to building my BB Valiant, the exhaust is the only thing I lose sleep over

Who makes headers for a big block Valiant?
Maybe you do.
