Never leave a stone unturned. The way I see it is generally the vintage cars being sold are owned by older people. Which it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know sometimes have trouble with technology. You can’t make a deal if you never take a shot. Just my 2 cents.

I saw this today in Wylie, Texas. The guy says the Pace Car is documented, but he couldn't remember if it's in the fender tag or other paper work. I didn't ask what engine it has. He says it needs work, but it runs and drives. Collins Brothers Jeep in Wylie.

Same car, here it is as the Pace Car at the start of the '63 Indy 500.

It's exciting times back in 1963, there are some good YouTube Videos about this #47 Indy 500 Race.

Just so interesting at what whas going on in that period of time.

Parnelli Jones won the race, just about got blacked flagged cause he had a leaky oil tank. He stayed at it and won the race.
