Thumper is a real GTX. I created it in the 1980's under the ISCA Rule Book. It was designed to run for points in the nation. Sadly, when it was finished ISCA at that time was no longer in existence....

There was a lot of cocaine in the 80's. Apparently this guy wore a huge spoon around his neck.
I do give him props for the clean engine compartment.

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if someone with more money than sense buys it as an oddity to stick in the corner of their super duper giant display "shop".

I hit the agree button , why in the hell would anybody put a 409 in a 68 gtx ?! They werent exactly the kings of the dragstrip , and faded quickly because they couldnt run with the rest of the crowd ...much like the 389 gto`s , mopar wedges of the day woud killem !!!

I like them all , from bone stock to radical custom.I do lean heavy towards the custom end though.
That being said. of all the cars I've done. I would never take a valuable car and do that to it, but I get it. to each his own.
 
Nah, that 68 Dart looks to have clean fenderwells. Get floors, quarters and send her back into the world to live longer! When I retire, I'll do one or two like that.
