Cars back then got covered in crud being shipped on open railcars and trucked long distances. They arrived at dealerships looking like hell. It’s why dealers back then had large numbers of wash and prep crews to clean them up before putting them on the lot.

Filename starts with NYC and it looks like New York City. As a refugee ex masshole it does not look like mass to me. I always loved this graphic showing the difference between NYC and Boston...

I zoomed in on the head stock, it's square like a martin but looks like a big logo, probably a copy.

That was at O.R. Mitchell Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge on Broadway downtown SA. All the car dealers were on Broadway back then. Then slowly they moved out to the loops and later on the interstate highways.
