I believe he was banned unjustly...he has contributed to many many members including myself with his knowledge.
This thing just got out of hand and there is some kind of grudge thing going on here.Justin has not posted much until he posted the results on my slant six head that he ported for me.
Post a street race story and bam banned....does not make sense...
Back to work finishing a customer truck on Sunday.

Let me see I understand where you are coming from.....because someone is helpful they should be allowed to raise all kinds of hell on here?
 
Today I was in no mood to be messed with...somebody in a FORD with some sissy badges on it with that looked like seedlings, must've been a hybrid, was doing 35 in front of me so I downshifted my Tercel and PASSED HIM!! He was so intimidated he almost ran off the road!
 
Pretty selfish way to live. Luckily no one was hurt.
Maybe next time ?

No, everyone should be treated the same if they are causing problems, how many people egged in on and received no warning or infraction.
They should of just did away with the thread when it got out of hand.
Honestly the major of Justin posts are in small block tech where he has help members,he rarely posts in general discussion threads and was as of today unaware of past threads that went bad on street racing stories...maybe a rule needs to be made...no street racing ...
Just think a week off would have been fair ,Rumblefish360 was second to go,probably need clearance before ban and I bet it ain't permanent like 1wildandcrazyguy is...
Sorry but I will miss them both!

I suspect that they were banned for improper language and verbal abuse and continuing with that language and abuse after multiple warnings from a moderator. I mean really, do you need to have everything spelled out before you "get it"? I went back and read every single post and it was rather....obnoxious and rude, to say the least. In fact, it was like being in the third grade again. :violent1:

Here, you clearly didn't get why some people voiced their opinion which was NOT in support of reckless driving, First in a neighborhood, followed by 13 miles of freeway stupidity. Maybe this entire segment eluded you during the reading process:

"while leaving my neighborhood I noticed 4 soup'd up imports with wings n ****, air dams , turbo blow valvestracket...this and that, i mean...I wasn't sure if they fkn fighter jets or just something out of a bad sci fy movie.....so pretty much in my don't give a fk mood I began taunting them by passing them at 6600 rpm and then down shifting the tires to smoke....till finally they got enough fuzz on their bean bags to step up and get ***** slapped by my primered bird **** covered Mopar. The first one thought he would attempt to pass me, WRONG...I shut him out and made his eyes go from slanted to round ...as he swearved away. The next joke on wheels decided he had more to offer so we got onto the freeway two lane on ramp and he ended up behind me , duh... Then after merging at 120 I decided to let off so they could catch me at cruising 80mph which is about 3800 rpm...I dumped it and passed all of them and watched as they tailed me still falling behind ,except one who I didn't see had got around in the slow lane while I was slowing for cars ahead....so I changed lanes with full throttle , scaring the **** out of everyone near me with 6500 rpm in 4th through a set of jegs turbos, just flying by that abomination with the speedo buried not giving two sheets about anything....after 13 miles of humiliating them at speeds and rpms those cars usually have an advantage at I pulled to the slow lane"

Let me be clear.. i do not approve of the actions accounted for in the #1 post, back in 2010 justin chimed in on a thread my wife started while i was on deployment in Germany. He came across as a real A** to her. To the point of offensive. After getting his mouth out of the way of his brain he Pm'd her , apologized, and helped her work through a fuel diagnosis with her.
In my book he manned up and did the right in my eyes. Now did he deserve to get a lifetime ban. I don't think it was right being the #2 post started the antagonizing to get him going. It is sad, 1 story exciting in his eyes, and instantly terrible in others eyes causes the loss of 2 knowledgeable members today. It was a story with some exaggerations, no-one got killed or hurt. Now if he did cause or involve himself in a wreck, i'm sure he wouldn't have even had a chance to post today. I do have family, i would be heartbroken if something hurt them, but the man upstairs has plans for everyone and what happens.. happens... Most of us are adults here and need to take what happens on here with a grain of salt. rant over.

To be clear, when a moderator tells you to "cool it", don't you think you might listen to the request? Especially if you were warned more than once? Think it through is all I'm saying. Doesn't matter if there is a rule book, but when you are directed to cease with the abusive behavior, one would think? a person would take this repeated request to heart and do as asked. Yes? From what I've seen on here, most people do enjoy the jibes back and forth but rarely do I see people go into a verbally abusive rant for so many pages. However, there were plenty of "followers" who were helping, but they were not "over the top" with the verbal assault style comments. I'm glad he apologized to your wife. It is my hope that he'll learn how to be a more effective communicator and less offensive when communicating with others. :wack:

I agree. I used to street race back in my day. I'm guilty. I also would still like to spectate/compete but I have made a conscience decision that being I can't predict the future and have a family dependant on my abilitynto work I choose not to. Everyone can have their opinions, not everyone can make me do what they feel is right be it law abiding or other. With that said if you see something illegal going on you have a right to call the authorities and report it. We as human beings should have enough self control to maturely speak our opinion about an incident and move on. I have seen it before, despite what people say more times than not people talk smack on the intardwebz and act like civil adults face to face. This thread needs to be locked and everyone move along. Its just festering bad feelings with nothing to gain. My 2cents, carry on.
 
LMFAO!!! I spit my Arby's sandwich on the monitor! I just today had some a**hole bikers (I ride too but there ARE a**holes out there!) about 5-10ft off the bumper of my truck. I gently tap the brakes to show them that I know that he's there and too F-'ing close. He doesn't even back off. I got to thinking about for a moment, He's 6 bikes with passengers in traffic...I REALLY want to teach him a lesson but there would be so much red meat all over the highway that I'd be in jail for the rest of my life. He eventually got the message. Normally, i keep alot of change in my ashtray. I'll open the window and wing a handful of change behind me to bounce off the window!
