One of my friends saw me tearing down the locked 318 from my 74 duster last week and it was trashed, probably been locked up since before I was born.
So my friend decided to give me a locked 318, this one is a from a really early build 68 B body (charger) so the block is dated 8/67.
This one is not as bad as the 74 was in the cylinders, but this one has rust under the intake manifold.
I drained at least a gallon of water.
My friend thinks it got watered last summer (2019) when we had a monsoon season, because he last ran this engine in late 17.
I was thinking for 68, it would have the raised area for the vin number stamp but it doesn't have any numbers anywhere that I can see.
