that has a template for drilling magnum heads for an la intake that loans/rents it for very reasonable price. asked in other forum and not many answers. used to be one here that was loaned out for price of shipping to next user. someone got and and kept it and another member made one and wants a huge number to rent it. tia.

The simple answer is to take them to your machine shop with an LA gasket for them to use as a template. Since the LA bolts go in 90* to the intake mounting surface, it's a simple process for them to drill in some new holes, and that keeps it relatively quick and cheap.

I have one that I made, it’s been hanging on my wall for 5 years, I used it once. I do remember I had to oval out some of the holes on the intake with a rat tail file. I’ll loan it out for the cost of shipping. You will need sacrificial copper tubing that goes through the holes of the tool when you drill, you can get short lengths of it at Home Depot.

It's not quite 90*. I had a set that I took to a machine shop and asked for just that, and bolt heads would touch on one corner, wouldn't bottom out squarely. I think they're something like 7* off from a true 90*, favoring the top side. I was gonna get some tapered washers made to make up the difference, and I never did. I ended up scrapping those heads.
I currently have another set of them that I would like to get drilled correctly to accept an LA intake.
The subject of a drilling guide to accomplish this is a sore subject among many here at the site.

Not quite 90°

I don't have a fixture made up right now. Just been too busy since the last one was misappropriated.

Will have to see what I can do. I work offshore and normally have a decent amount of time off the boat but have work related classes to do before I make it home. Sorry I can't say for sure at the moment.
