67 Dart, little rust, but no title "yet" Has some big torsion bars, and weirdly, a spool mount K, but drum front brakes. No interior

Is there a drag car in you future Del?......:D. That shot thru the core support looks super clean. Doesn't look like the clearcoat held up too good...lol. Seriously, very nice grab.

nice score ....i would drag that home too .....looks like a few i already have in my back yard......congrats ....nothing wrong with yard art ....sure is pretty IMO

Nice. Mind telling where you found it?

I haven't even figured what to do with it yet LOL First order of business is to try and get a title. That will either open or shut many possibilities. This thing is INCREDIBLY rust free, actually better than my driver. Found it on Craigslist.

I measured 1" torsion bars!!!!

I don't know about the K. It APPEARS to be freshly painted. Were any Mopar replacement, or aftermarket K's available? Painted? And the odd thing is it's a spool mount, yet SBP wheels and drums.

Missing a lot, though. No seat cores, no grille, no cluster, no engine bay wiring. But some of the stuff is new/ replacement, like the rocker trim panels, and the rear side pans (whatever?) that go up by the rear windows.

I thought DC did a BB K Frame for the A body with spool type mounts. Maybe??????????

Yes DC had a Spool mount abody K frame.

I meant to get ---it has a number stamped on the top

Safe to assume it had the long speedo in it? If so, got one for you....

Sometime when you have a minute for a pic, I'd like to see the trunk trim panel. I'm told they are different for each year in 67, 68, and 69. My 69 Custom has the narrow band like the side trim. I like the wide trunk trim.

Yes they did and I have one. It is powder coated black and the center link for the steering drops Dow to clear the oil pan, cannot tell in the picture if the center link is like the one I have.

hey Wildcat, do you know there is a car just like yours down here in Cincy area. I run across him once in a while at some of the car shows. I think he said the only difference in the cars is the hood . you know him

Well tonight I got it onto the hoist off the trailer. You don't have any IDEA how much a PITA this is for this old man.

Here's the way I think this goes down:

The K, LCAs, torsion bars and struts and lower balls will come out and go under the 67, and a little later, I'll put the disk setup on that. This will give me improved idler arm. This thing has early box/ center link, etc, as the 73/4 disk studs point the opposite way.

None of my LCAs have sway bar mounts, and neither does either of the V8 K's so I'll have to fabricate that. I do have a sway bar.

Then I'll just stick the late (73) /6 K under it to be a "roller" Too bad it wasn't converted to disks, because it's either got new or cleaned/ painted upper arms, and refurbished drums. All that work and they could've been into disks. Of course this happened 15-20 years ago.

Just recently I was at pick a part and they have a 74 Dart, it has, slant 6, spoolmount K with drum sbp (10'') brakes. The car was complete and untouched. I too thought it was odd with the drums.Lot of the base slant cars still had drums(9") but this thing was a loaded up SE model. In 2 days that thing was just about picked clean when I went back for the rear drums.

Hey 67 were you just down at the resort? Just saw a nice black Dart that looks like yours.

Why in hell didn't ya stop by? I went down there to park and eat lunch, and "hope for girls"

LOL, saw you pull out of the parking lot. Was having lunch at the Bistro. Your car is an eye catcher.
