Lagging when shifting?? (727 auto, w/ full manual valve body)

...........U could have the trans go-2 kit which has the shift command feature, so u would in fact have manual low.......the 5.0 lever has burned up many trannys.....it is for use with the rmvb........u need to have the proper clearances and settings.......u say that u have a "delay".........and that u have kd linkageshorten the rod alittle, see if that helps.........then adjust the front band to atleast 2 turns with the 5.0 lever, depending on what front servo u have, and forward pattern shift kit...w2hats ur receipt say for the tranny work.........kim........

Thats what I was planning on doing first also.

@ Kim, the recipt for the rebuild, just say 727 Rebuild, at $600 bucks. And then another recipt for $450 bucks. All in March of '06.
 
Ok, so yesterday I readjusted the shifter linkage, and that may have helped. The delay is still present but it's less then a second now. I'm going to "fine tune" it today when I replace my ball joint. I'll re-post here with the official results! Thank you guys for all the helpful tips and advice!
