Not much going on here so made a batch of home made beer should be done in a few weeks so another 2 gallons of beer on the shelve.
My wife was going through some old slides and transferred them onto the computer. These pictures are of our two kids Jennifer and Christopher up at the family cottage. The stump they are standing on was used to take not only pictures of the kids but to clean the fish coming out of the lake. Dated about 77-78 I would think. Good times were had by all.

That picture of Jen and Diane was right about the same time we found out she was deaf so she might have had hearing aids on. Maybe a little earlier. She was around 2 yrs old. Sure didn't hold her back any.

They keep us busy but on days like today with nothing going and home alone I sure miss mine.

Knowing you I bet she was spoiled rotten and couldn't have a better family. Really Mike I think she was happy all her days and if she could talk I think she would agree with me.
Better to go in peace knowing the ones around you loved you much. We all hope to go the same as Heidi I think.
Pretty boring around here. Nice day. Spent the day organizing and compacting the space that I call "the staging area" for the tsunami of mother-in-laws belongings when we moved her into the home. It's my parking garage. It's where my Barracuda is resting. Really gained a lot of space. Sure felt good standing in the big doorway with the sun beating on me.
Thanks again Fred , I am lucky she lived 14 1/2 years . Thats one thing bad about dogs , they don't live long enough !

14 1/2. I was just learning how to be an asshole. lol Took about that many more to figure it out. I love a smart dog. Neighbors dog was snooping around today. She kept her distance from the baited mouse trap in the garage.
Right now BP no . Only time will heal the wounds , never fully but tolerable . I've always had a dog , so time will tell.

Yes when you get older it is harder. My neighbor is in his 70's went a got himself an Australian sheperd , he had to return it after a year , just couldn't handle him . A lot of work!!!
That's what my neighbors dog is. She has a lot of energy. I Had a lab as a kid. Never had one since. I think about it from time to time.
