working on a little project here
making a handle for the mother in law to get up out of her lazy boy
picked up all the metal, and a nice sturdy handle and I got to working
cutting grinding welding dressing, i was having a blast
stopped for just a minute to say goodbye to the wife who had to run out on an errand
about 15 minutes later I was ready to plate the handle and I could not find it for the life of me
finally, I had an idea of where I last saw it and I called the wife...sure enough it was still right where I left it...on the cowl of the charger (only now it is 10 miles across town)

Rib eye steaks baked potato and asparagus for dinner tonight. Steaks were perfect but should have had some red wine to go with it.
Gonna watch movies the rest of the night and vegetate on my easy chair and gain a little weight. lol

Morning guys. Hope everyone had a great evening. Going to be a crappy day with rain and high winds maybe some snow thrown in as well. A real mixed bag so I'll be staying in looks like. Just looking at the Covid reports this morning. The cases are starting to lower now but we're told this isolating thing will go on for at least another 4-6 weeks or it could and likely would flare up again. Keep safe.
Don't know if you heard the horror we had in Nova Scotia over the weekend. One guy went off the rails and went on a shooting spree. All told 18 people dead including the shooter. He was a respected dentist in the area but for some reason he went postal. A woman RCMP officer on the force for 23 yrs is one of the dead.
A couple that got killed was from here and he worked in a nursing home in town and just retired and moved to N.S. for more tranquility. If you could only look into the future. A sad time for sure and the worst shooting here in Canada ever.
