Stairs like that would make quarantine a lot easier.Stairs? What stairs?
I've used a come-along many times to seat a tire. Works slick as ****.View attachment 1715515823
After I "straightened" the rim I had to get inventive to reseat the tire. My reward? An opportunity to mow the lawn!
I usually use a sealer between the tire and rim and that makes sure it doesn't leak. You shoulda been here to help me! Never tried it before. So far staying aired up.
Guessing you'll burying it so go down deep enough so it doesn't freeze. At least 4 feet.Today will be a plumbing day. Gonna run a faucet to the garage. Dang I need to go back to work so I can relax.
Wake up sleepy heads. Crank this one up.

That slime is only good for nails etc in the tire not to seal the rim.I like the way you think. Also some various implements of destruction.

Buy a fitting that has a drain in it and install at the lowest point to drain the system completely so pipes don't freeze and having to do it all over again.Fortunately its an attached garage so its just through the wall. Still need to shut off the well and drain the system.
Not really just DON'T use Silicone. Horrible stuff.Do you have a sealer of choice? Hopefully there won't be a next time but...
Nope not gonna fall off and under the car so not gonna see it. Did better at welding with flux core than I do.sure thing
(i had em posted somewheres else, but dont mind flooding the www with my welds)

Morning Mark, nope all good here.Glad to see you back on Fred. Thought something bad had happened to you.
I wish I would have put water in my garage but not attached to the house and water lines here are 8' deep.Fortunately its an attached garage so its just through the wall. Still need to shut off the well and drain the system.
