no potluck, but before service one of the church families feeds the visiting preachers, and after service there is a free ice cream buffet

we got to feed them yesterday, and since there was also a tour group from one of the Christian colleges, I made about 7 pounds of fajitas

what options are you considering for the wheels?
I'm always partial to the classics
I have center lines on it now but in 14" going to a taller wheel so tires are easy to find. Not sure yet on design but I like the classics as well.

Morning men, DIY. You guys a flirting with fire ,the world is still in a pandemic, feeding travelers ,ice cream buffet you have more balls then I . Happy Tuesday!

im not too worried about it
regardless of my thoughts on covid, i know where im going when i die :)

sides, cant be more dangerous then going to a riot

Working today so I can buy more car parts but getting down to being done. Still trying to figure out what wheels and tires I want.
Just don't put huge 20's on it. I hate that look. Mine are actually 17's but with the low profiles on it doesn't look that big. A nice 15"x10 on the back and a 15x8 or 15x6 up front with big fat tires without white letters but all TUCKED under the wheel wells. Perfect in my mind. The design of the wheel is your choice of course.

Dads Oatmeal Cookies... That brings back some memories. Haven't been to Canada in Decades.
They don't sell them there? Boy that sucks big time. So a crunchy oatmeal will do the trick. Our Costco sells a big box of them. Another reason to move to Canada lol

I agree Biff. You may not care DIY but the question is how many people will you infect while being at Church. That is what you have to think of, it's not just about you. How would you feel if you knew you past on this virus to someone in your congregation and it snowballed killing a large number? How would you answer St. Peter with that one. Save you a place by the fire buddy.

I don't think I'd be dealing with Saint Peter, since I'm a fellow laborer as he is (we see this several times in the scriptures)
I would be dealing directly with King Jesus and I think I would tell Him I acted on the best knowledge I had, with the best intentions
besides, an old time preacher once pointed out that we would do better as a Church if we were just as concerned about keeping sinners out of hell, as we are about keeping saint out of heaven

sides, we know about virulence, dont we?
as a virus mutates, it grows weaker, in the sense that its effects on the host become less severe
this allows it to spread faster and further then a virus that kills its host in 12 hours and then has no where to go
ebola, the swine flu, they all had severe effects in their initial outbreak but now the symptoms are much milder

what am I saying?

covid is not as scary as it was, and it is definitely not as scary as certain people would like us to believe

Going 17" rims and will take the car to the tire shop to see how big of tire I can put on the back. I agree I like old school look.

almost forgot to mention...God is a God of order and hiarchy
that means that if there is a leader in place, and i submit myself to that leader, I am not responsible (kinda like soldiers under command)

this is of course taking into account there is ample reason to follow these leaders. Paul says we are to consider the end of their conversation, and again, he says that pastors are to give an account to God for our souls

(now, this doesn't mean we blindly follow, but it does mean we submit even when we disagree)
long story short, I would tell King Jesus I followed the leaders He placed in my life

eeks, 17 is pretty big in my eyes
are we still talking A body?

now, if it were 17 inches wide...I'd be all for it

My daughter and son in law went to a bible camp a few years ago for a week long event. A gal there had whooping cough and thought she would be healed and with faith not give it to others. My kids came home with it and all the family got it. Like 8 kids and mom and dad. If your sick stay home I would keep my kids from school if they were sick so not to pass it to others. Common sense no matter what because there are to many people in this world that have health problems an we all need to think about them.

I run nitto 555s in 275/65-15 (or 55, I don't remember)

nice little drag radial

and coker still makes N50-15s
I'll check it out thanks would like to keep it a 15" . been running TA's on it and a good tire but I do plan on driving it long distance and what a better tire.

Glad you got the hey in did you fix the bailer?
Yes I did a search online for billhook wont release knot. It turns out the sweep needed to be closer to the billhook. Somehow it got pulled away and was not pulling it off the hook. It is over 50 years old and sometimes we also need an adjustment.
