Never had or never will buy an import. One day I may eat those words. I always buy domestic so the profits stay in our country. Yeah I know some imports are built in North America but I still consider them imports. Old school I guess.

oh i wholly agree
it doesnt matter where the cars were "assembled" , the profits still go to the cars home country
a toyota will always be a jap car
a VW will always be a kraut cat
and a mitsubishi will ALWAYS be a car build by the people who build the planes that attacked pearl harbor

it just took me a minute to understand that

Well I look at them like my pay check all cars have there faults no matter who builds them , I see the same mistakes made on Chrysler’s that are on Fords and imports , I like things about every car and dislike things about every car .

I like my Crown Vics because I understand them and how dependable they are. Production stopped on 2011 so I may not be able to stay in good used ones for much longer.

Worked on a 7 series BMW 120000$ car 52 computers ,didn’t like that :realcrazy:

The wiring on the new stuff is awful thin breaks in the doors from opening and closing and rotors get replaced every brake job , lots of calipers ,suspension parts ,switches ... I could go on but it’s almost Christmas thank goodness Santa’s sleigh was built when stuff was made to last and be repaired when it breaks .

Merry Christmas my friends, hope all is well.
Sure miss talking with you guys but still have a few family problems to work out but getting closer to solving......

Merry Christmas Fred stay safe ,nice of you to check in .

They say we may get some on Christmas day. It is going to plunge the temps starting tonight. A high of 24 degrees for Christmas day.
Sounds about the same here. They are saying we may get more rain or freezing rain then snow but Toronto will get more snow than us and we're only 30-35 miles from there. Not going anywhere anyway. Just my wife, me and the turkey.

Merry Christmas from our house to yours. * Note that I spelled out Christmas and not Xmas lol

Thanks brother, and a Merry Christmas to you and yours

BMW stands for Break My Wallet Biff.

You wouldn't know this unless you speak German, but BMW actually means Blau Mitt Weish

Which of course means "blue and White" and is explained by thier logo
