Wow you guys were busy while I drove home.
I used PVC pipe cut at an angle on a bike faring. It worked good but the gauges lent themselves well to the procedure. Not sure if yours will do that.No was going to do that but I didn't know how.
Good deal he is good at that.Depends on the size of hammer Fred.
BTW. BP will be so kindly posting the steam engine video for me.
We just don't goof off around here CF LOLWow you guys were busy while I drove home.
More work than I want to do Charlie I'm getting tired of working on it. the fiberglass and bending the stainless was enough for me.I used PVC pipe cut at an angle on a bike faring. It worked good but the gauges lent themselves well to the procedure. Not sure if yours will do that.
Mark asked me to show himself blowing off some steam eh...

What is the solution, replace the lifters or cam too? I remember reading in a different thread about valve seats dropping too.Lifters are the problems with early gen 3 hemi's. 03 was the first year for the hemi
A bit quicker than me.Valve seats like to come loose too. You would think that would be more than a tick.
45RFEWhat transmission would that be 46RE?
Methyl-Hydrate BP. Just put some water in the boiler. (check safeties) put the fuel in the wick, light the fuel and put it under the boiler and let her build steam then suddenly it takes of like mad. What do you fuel it with Mark?
Being a 2003 it won't have MDS so will be a hog on gas. The older Hemi's had a problem with the camshaft so I've been told but can't confirm that. If you can get it for the right price that's great. Will you be keeping it or just flipping it?So I'm thinking of going to look at a 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 tomorrow. Truck has 110k miles on it, 5.7 hemi, seller says it has a ticking noise and a misfire code on cyl 6. Anyone have any tips or ideas, suggestions, etc? Asking price seems pretty good, it's a club cab model, looks pretty straight and rust free.
