we are talking a 19th century farm house here, no shingles, but red clay roofing tiles


then again, my electric bill last month was in the $400 range
my dads panels make more power in the summer then they need and his meter will actually roll back
usually enough to break even in the winter

he hasnt paid for electricity since they installed that eyesore

I still think I'd have put them on the ground save some money or not. He's probably selling hydro back to the companies which is legal here.

well, lemme ask you this...how much time do you spend in your yard?
now compare that the the amount of time you spend on your roof, and see which makes more sense

I spend a lot of time in the yard and very little on the roof of course but then I'd have to look at that conglomeration on the roof not only that but my neighbours would also.
 
Went grocery shopping today and that about does my day. I hate shopping but needs to be done. Went to my barber to get my hair cut and they were closed so went to get my hearing aids fixed and they were closed.
Good news is the guy I'm buying my motor cycle from sad it would be ready for me to pick up this weekend so am happy, might join a motor cycle gang and do some cruising. lol
