Morning guys. Just looked outside and there a flakes floating down. I was hoping it was just a bad dream. I actually slept in this morning till 6. Must be getting old lol

Snow didn't amount to anything. It's been sunny most of the day but sure is windy.
I just put the garbage out and it's cold out there.
Tried to fix the printer as it will only print in black since the new Windows 10 update. HP wants you to deal with the virtual tech but that's just a pain ion the arse.
Found a 1-800 number and talked to a tech, I thought I pushed 1 for English. I did but hard to understand the woman. Suspect Columbian or Pilipino. After a short conversation she said "Oh you from Canada" I'll redirect your call. Phone rings and go through the normal mumbo jumbo then put on hold. 4-5 minutes later the line goes dead and then I get the dial-tone. Tried twice to call them back and get busy signal. Don't you just love "Customer Service"? Should call it "Customer I don't give a rats".

Holy crap... put the recycling out 15 minutes ago and just had to chase the blue boxes and round up the contents. I wasn't kidding when I said it was windy out there. I'll put them back out tomorrow
 
Well Mark it was pouring rain this morning but cleared up and is decent out right now ,roads are dry gonna take a drive see what I can get up to ..ttyl

I don't know if I've ever posted this picture before but this is a house near where my son lives. Talk about energy conscious, they also have geothermal as well. This guy has spent thousands to save some money and make his house look hideous. Wonder what the payback time will be? Can you imagine what the cost will be when it's time to shingle the roof? That's if you can get someone to take on the job. I think I would have put the solar panels on the ground but that's just me. LOL

i dont know, put the panels on the roof and you get maximum exposure

my parents have solar panels on their roof and i HATE it

we are talking a 19th century farm house here, no shingles, but red clay roofing tiles


then again, my electric bill last month was in the $400 range
my dads panels make more power in the summer then they need and his meter will actually roll back
usually enough to break even in the winter

he hasnt paid for electricity since they installed that eyesore
