I picked up a pan finally. Went to this guy that specializes in Mopars. I posted the picture of his 68 Cuda on here a while ago with the wheels way up while being launched. He runs mid 8's with it. When I walked in the garage there is his Cuda up on the hoist and his engine on the floor. All aluminum block and I asked how many cubes. He looked up at me and said 604cu in. He's sold the engine and working on maybe putting the car back on the street. He said the cops wouldn't like him lol....wonder why LOL After 46 yrs in the business he's finally retired.
 
So got a great story about an old guy , so the dmv takes his license away he still drives, so the kids took his keys well he’s got BCAA (pay a fee get free towing) They intercepted his car on the back of the tow truck heading to the dealership for new keys , sounds like someone’s in trouble .lol must still have his wits about him to cook that one up .
 
One of my friends years ago got his 2nd blower at that time 1st offence 6 months walking 2nd offence 1 year. One night a couple weeks after his court date we were partying he was in the bag and I remember him saying I’m still going to drive what are they going to do cut my feet off. Well some jail time put that attitude to rest.

Hi guys. Trans all serviced now so that's out of the road.
I went out at 8:30 and had been spitting earlier. Luckily it all dried up and the sun came out and was fairly humid. Big storm coming either starting tonight or overnight. Going to be a lot of rain they are saying. No mention of tornados so far.
Thank goodness the election is now over and we can get back to the new normal.
No more political bullshit adverts.

Glad the Cuda is back on the road and time to take it on a nice run before winter.

Nice day here in winterpeg manisnowba off to snow lake tomorrow for 7 days of fly out moose hunting. Camp is on an island. Got to practice my sexyest moose call. Here moose here moose. 600 miles to sleep in a tent in the middle of nowhere. Only communication is with our satellite phone. Must be either crazy or stupid but I know it will be fun.

I don't know stupid sounds like fun to me and away from the world in a place that could care less about politics!
Yea not stupid but a good place to get away and enjoy some freedom is a good thing.
BTW I don't think your sexy Moose call will help but give it a try and hope for the best.:elmer:

As long as you have the winter to freeze the lake to make it easy to move materials for building. The rest of it you haul by boat

When I was a kid my dad and uncles built a huge house boat that never left the lake. Built it on site kinda and drove a model a ford chassis into it for propulsion. It was like an island. I remember sitting down to eat at the table with alot of people. It burned down.

Lived in a cabin in the mountains with no electricity with 5 kids for 5 years and have no regrets.
