Morning fellas and Happy Hump Day. Going to be nice for the next couple of days. Then they're talking about a possibility of some white crap next week. So looks like I may be putting the snows on this weekend. I hate that!!!

Morning guys This working 5 hours a day 4 days a week is coming to an end here the first of the year.
I keep telling myself stop but with another car to restore it makes it hard not to make some side money.

Have you figured out what you're going to do with it yet?
Not yet I Mark Need to take it apart and see what the trans axle and engine look like.
If the running gear is real bad I'll look for a S-10 Blazer and put the VW body on that frame.
A thought anyway.

maybe a dart sport on a F150 frame?
aint no reason i couldnt drive a cool car in the winter too and get stuff done

A gorgeous day I'm pleased to say. Wife and I went shopping this morning, had lunch and then hit the road. Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Dropped in to see a friend and he's got his 408 Dart up on stands already.
He's just checking all underneath for any problems but then he'll be taking the motor apart and checking the heads etc. Plus putting new valve springs and all new head bolts etc. He said the engine was running real sweet but he's very particular.

I'd go for that it sounds fun.
Need to do the under carriage check thingy on mine as well. Not so particular as your friend I'm sure.
Wouldn’t it be cool to paint the bug the same colour as your car . ?

Crazy thing happened yesterday in Toronto. A small Piper airplane took off from a small airport and had just had a total inspection. Took off and got to 2000 feet and the guy switched tanks to keep it balanced. The motor started to fail and the guy had to land as he wouldn't make it back to the airport. So he landed it on the 407 Toll Highway and did a fabulous job said the Cop a pilot himself.
Good job it was the Toll Road because it wasn't busy.
They called in a float and loaded the plane on the float sideways and had a police escort of course. Something you don't see everyday. I'm sure the mechanic that passed the plane's inspection will be asked a few questions lol
