Morning guys. Man oh man did it rain overnight with high winds as well. We did need the rain desperately though and the perfect time to do it.
After all that rain it'll sure be humid today.

My buddies Boston Bull Terrier was proud of his farts. He’d dance around and wag his tail while the rest of us yelled at him.

When our Anatolian Shepherd was a puppy, he literally cleared the house when he farted, it was so vile we had to go outside and get fresh air. It got better as he got older, but he was still pretty rank.
The three we have now are capable of making eyes water anytime.

I got myself a 73 Valiant with a slant 6 that will only start if you put gas down the carb. I rebuilt the 2 barrel Carter and really didn't need it but it still won't start without putting some gas down the carb. Checked to see if it was putting fuel down while pumping on the throttle and can't see any fuel going in.
Checked the compression on the cylinders and the lowest is 130 and the most is 145. Fuel pump seems to be working and it will stay running after I put some gas in the throat.

Accelerator pump and or choke circuit a good soaking in lacquer thinner and a Bj that with blow the junk clean. Because we all know that everything works better after a Bj.
 
Been a funny day really. One minute it's dull and overcast and windy the next the sun is out and humid. It was a good day for my wife and I to clean up where the composters used to be.

So??? clogged pipes and a good BJ will fix everything?
Might pass on the laquer thinner though it might just be a bit to hot for this old guy. lol

could put some compost all over you Mark and you never know you might get a good cleaning as well. lol

Unfortunately Dave and his wife are apparently on vacation celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Asked about a shop tour, but only done on Fridays and by appointment. D'oh again!
Oh well, I can say I've been there and got the t-shirt at least!

Boss asked if I wanted a break from the shop this morning, I said sure so I’m off to help a construction company install a prefabricated foot bridge over a creek ! Never a dull moment,I am loving my new job :lol:

I've always found that when I have opportunities to do different things it's never been dull. Constant repetition is what will drive me away from a job, I get bored and restless.
