There are significant times in history that you remember where you were , what time it was etc today was one of those days .
My daughter came in and asked is the queen was truly dead

I said, yep she died earlier today

My daughter asked how come I didn't tell her

I said girl, we are Americans, we haven't cared about that monarchy since 1776

(I was right in grandma's living room sitting on the couch as we had this conversation)

Man your

Man your a piece of work :realcrazy:

Went to look at a 67 GTX 440 today and engine is a 67 so numbers matching and as far as I can tell original paint and car is in great shape.
Not to much rust on the bottom, and around the front and back glass are solid as well as the vinyl top with a 85,000 miles showing on the speedometer. A friend of mine is thinking about buying it and guess I'll find out soon if he's taking it home. Guessing it's worth about $15,000 .

Nice cars, I almost bought one several years ago, but I was too involved in my 1970 Dart to take on another project. It was a numbers car, complete and running, had a solid lifter cam, but it was rough, IIRC the seller was only asking around $3500 at the time.

Good morning and wholey **** it’s Friday ! The weather here has been incredible warm during the day cool at night couldn’t ask for more . Can’t wait to see what today brings
I see they had snow in the mountains Biff.
There you are sweating your goolies off and it's snowing close to you

Nice find. It would go good sitting side by side with the Scamp

A friend of mine found a 67 GTX just across the border in Watertown. It was pretty solid and had some panels missing. He brought it home and he and his dad built it over several years but now all finished but the bummer is that he's now 21 and is insured through Haggerty but can't drive it till he's 25.
So his dad drives it to the car shows or his dad will take his own 70 Charger 440.
Eric has a bit of a challenge but he's smart as a whip and anything you want to know about Mopars just ask him.
His GTX 440 and him standing with Mr Norm at Moparfest. He was about 9-10 years old.
He's been a real gearhead for years

Ok I'm up and on my first cup of coffee.
New shelving to install in the MIL's bedroom so that should get my garage empty.

Morning gents cooler but real nice. So today is the one day a year that the locals get together to drag all their old junk down the main drag. Then there’s a rodeo and beer gardens. Whoo Hoo fair weekend. Should be fun

Oh that's what the weathergirl said Biff and she showed a map of the snow up in the mountains. For your sake I hope it isn't

This show was a real laugh. No swearing just good clean fun.

Have the whole series on DVD along with Gillian’s Island, Get Smart, Beverly Hillbillies, Hogans Hero’s, Petty Coat Junction, Red Skeleton, Green Acres to name a few. In the winter we’ll invite some friends and have a whatever the name of the show is fest. Have some wobbly pops and laugh good times

Damn sounds like a good time and good memories.

I gave my 73 Valiant to the grand kids and they just came over today and drove it home. Nothing better than seeing a bunch of young boys all excited driving it out of the yard. I'll give everything to my kids and grand kids before I get planted 6' in the ground just to watch there smiling face and enjoy watching them fix the old Valiant up.
