Morning fellas.
Will be a nice day here today all sun and no rain and 26C
Not much left of this week.
Don't know if you heard about the two brothers that went on a killing spree in Saskatchewan. They killed 10 and injured I think it's 18.
They found the one brother dead a few days ago from stab wounds. Self inflicted or from his brother they don't know.
They caught the other one yesterday morning and died of stab wounds.
The last one to die was in and out of jail and a record a mile long.
Perfect ending, no life sentence, no court sessions very little cost to the tax payers.
Good riddance!!

Thanks but as of lately think I’ll be able to write my red seal in afternoon snoozes. Trying to keep busy in the am might be a bigger task but think I’m up for the challenge. Between a 5 acre lot all my toys and my family I’ll probably work harder in retirement than I did working. It will just be when I want to not on someone’s else’s schedule

Kinda hate to say it but we have to keep that crap out of the gene pool. Call me what ever you want, doesn’t change anything we don’t need people like that.

Apparently when the guys were on drugs or booze or both they were very dangerous. So no great loss with either of them.

And the parole board with their dunce caps on saying "Oh, we don't feel that you pose a risk to reoffend", yeah, those 59 charges on his record were all for jaywalking. Several years ago he went to jail for almost an identical crime, only difference was he didn't manage to kill his father in law that time, but succeeded this time.

Today England lost their Queen of 70 years.
I remember when she had her coronation in 1953.
We were living in England and we had a big street party.
My sister and I both had the measles so we had our own table and snacks.
Sad time, she was a legend.

True story, her picture and her husbands hung in every classroom, we sang Oh Canada every morning and God save the Queen till junior high then we just listened as it was played over the intercom. My mother was a big fan, there are boxes and boxes of scrap books with photos,newspapers, clippings, spoons, cups, memorabilia of all kinds. Maybe worth something now. Sad day for sure, but time stands still for no man or woman

Well it’s a sad day for sure , my wife’s family has a connection to the Queen her grandmothers mothers mother was a lady in waiting there is some artifacts kicking around somewhere.
 
There are significant times in history that you remember where you were , what time it was etc today was one of those days .

My wife is a huge fan as well and she has albums galore.
The Queen even joined the forces in WW2 and was a mechanic. Probably changing oil and light bulbs and small other job but she did her part. She also had a great sense of humour.

Technology did a lot for that mostly TV. I remember when JFK was shot I was 5 mad because they kept on running the same film clips, newsmen kept talking and no cartoons. A few years later Tv brought the moon landing, another couple year the FLQ with Laporte murder and bombings. Yes TV put us all front and centre. Good or bad the info is there in a flash as it happens

I remember when I heard about JFK. I was riding my bike downtown and had my transister up to my ear. The day they landed on the moon my soon to be Father-in-Law had just bought a colour TV.
I also remember the FLQ incident. An awful thing in Quebec when they kidnapped Pierre Laporte and then shot him. The Army was brought in and the press asked Pierre Trudeau how far he was prepared to go and he said "Just watch me". He didn't take crap from anyone.
 
Good morning and wholey **** it’s Friday ! The weather here has been incredible warm during the day cool at night couldn’t ask for more . Can’t wait to see what today brings :thumbsup:
