We had 17 kids last night and had 95 chocolate bars so do the math lol
 
Morning guys and Happy Nov 1st. Now Halloween is over be prepared to be bombarded with Xmas items and music.
Never mind the guys who died during the 2 wars. The stores aren't bothered with them because they can't make money.
Because of our vets that fought you saved us all from speaking German. R.I.P. guys and girls.
 
It was a dull rainy day this morning and we went out for lunch with some long term friends before they head to Florida for the winter.
We came out of the restaurant and it was gorgeous outside. Getting even better right through the weekend.
 
We were standing outside this afternoon and suddenly were hear police sirens all over.
We have this elderly lady down the street (96) and she had been scammed by some young punks.
She had got a call supposedly from a Bail Bondsman telling her that her grandson was in jail.
Yes the same old scam.
She had got the money but in the meantime her PSW smelled a rat and called the cops.
5 unmarked cruisers parked up the street and after the old lady gave them the money the PSW tipped off the cops. The cops said they had been on their trail for a couple of days and finally nailed them. They guy that got the money was very well dressed and the cops grabbed him and threw him on the ground (wet ground). Not to worry he'll be getting a new orange one. He and his partner.
Glad they caught the dirty bastards.

Easy fix just shoot them all and it's over with.
Can't stand someone scamming an old lady or any one for that matter.
 
Been working on the 29 truck today and hope to have some pictures of my progress soon.
Not real good at making things that work but I'm trying.

Darned thermostat in the shop quit again. I built a box for that windmill thermostat you gave me. Working like a charm so far. Built a little dust protection Into it. I got a good feeling about it.

Hope it works. I had the garage door open all day and looks like warmer tomorrow like 70*. been here 22 years and never seen it this warm and dry.
 
Had several days of 50 to 60 degrees last week, wind was pretty strong though, up to 55 mph gusts. Today was wet snow on and off, no accumulation, but snowfall warning issued for tonight and tomorrow, up to 8 inches. I can do without that.

Good afternoon beautiful day here crisp and sunny ! Did I say I love my new job I get to do everything from clutch adjustments to painting running man lifts fork lifts excavator, nice pace nothing crazy :) happy hump day men.

Good for you Biff. It's nice when you look forward to going to work.
I used to be like that but after 46 years then I didn't when the aches and pains started. I put up with it for 6 months then retired and never looked back.

Saw all the snow in Alberta Randy. That's just rude to hit you like that all of a sudden. Be safe buddy

Maybe I shouldn't say it but another gorgeous day today and even better for the weekend and next week looks decent too. I'm sure we'll be paying for this.
I thought I was done cutting the grass but may have one more cut.
