Fred I have to say I am speachless for what your grandson is going through. All I can say is sorry for the pain he is experiencing.
Thanks CF he is a hard core kid and taking it well, just hope he recovers soon and we can do some garage stuff together this winter.
He's one of my best friends.

Hey y’all hope everyone is having a good long weekend resting my old tired *** on the couch did both u21 and u18 gold medal games today one was good one was bad had a line brawl in the u21 game just finished the paper work on that one . Wooo booo

Not sure what scrap is around you guys but I found when I took some in it is down to 78.00 a ton now. Hardly worth the drive.
Wow that's bad and not sure what it is here I haven't been hauling scrap iron here for a long time but it always paid for fuel and enough to buy lunch and some supplies in the shop.

Ya got more energy than me Biff and the only thing I can do on ice is put some booze with it and a few of those and try to skate myself to the bed. LOL

Morning guys and Happy Monday.
I watched the final NHRA races last night. I always extend the recording time so as not to miss the end part.
They got right to the end and were running Pro-Stock between Erica Enders and Greg Anderson and even though I had extended the recording time they both go to the line and the video ended. Pissed me right off.
I looked at the results this morning and Anderson won. Can't stand that guy!!
Going to my buddy's place after lunch and help him put his cars away. He has a car and a half garage and we get his both cars in and the snowblower goes between them with inches to spare.
Have a great day

got a sheet of 3/4 " plywood today and the price has dropped but the quality is not as good as the old days. 48 bucks for a 4' by 8' sheet.

Different brands are better than others. Just like most things I guess. Did you get some wire? I started having a backup when I went on my own. One of those things that's out of sight out of mind.

If you want quality plywood buy forming fir plywood no gaps or knots won’t separate if it gets soaked but it’ll cost ya

Found out yesterday ( the hard way) that the seat in my snowblower carb is a rubber washer. Is it that expensive to Machine a freaking proper seat in a carb. Thing was running rough so took float bowl off, full of ****. Decided to give carb a ******** because everything works better after a ******* we all know that. I guess I blew that rubber seat who knows where in shop. After much fing around gas spilled, I googled it found this rubber seat. Had to spend $40 for a carb kit to get it. $&”/:;#}%£€<<. Ok I feel better know you guys have a great day

Let me guess. It's a Chinese engine. Instead of buying say a float bowl gasket you have to buy the carb kit.

Morning guys and Happy Tuesday.
I go to a shoulder surgeon today to see what's up.
Someone turned the furnace off outside. What a change in weather!!!
Oh BTW, I'm so excited to announce we have a new prize for winners now.
Please don't overload our switchboard for requests. As usual it's free shipping just pay the 49.95 handling charges.
You won't be disappointed.
Sorry no returns. Once you get it you own it.

Well it’s an older ariens 13.5 hp tecomsesh. No name on carb just a number you can only look up under engine model number. Lesson learned again. Sweep the dam shop floor before working on a carb. Runs good now and blood pressure back to normal LMAO

Saw one of these in my sons tool box. Except the hammer end was a lot bigger He says the miners use them underground, on the rock drills and scoop trams

heres a fun story for you guys

i was out running some errands the other day in the wifes car when i got caught in a snow storm
at the time i still had the summer tires on, so she was a little squirmy

for some reason i was out on a section of town i dont often visit, and there is a big hill that dips down, almost like if you go far enough out of town, you drop off the edge of the world

anyway, as i was powering out of a turn, and the car slide sideways in the snow, all of a sudden i was reminded of a test drive i took some 20 years ago

the girl i was dating at the time had a friend who was dating some guy who was selling a POS camaro
it only had the six in it, and bald tires

for some reason i took it out on a test drive, probably just to drive it, i had no intention of ever buying it, shoot, i dont even think i had a license at the time

so i had taken this clunker out and as i came down to the bottom of the hill i lost it, i got sideways and didnt know how to get out of it, i spun and slid through some front yards, untill i came to rest against some serious pines

it was then i decided it was about time to bring her back in, only problem is...that hill
i sat at the bottom of it for about 10 minutes, getting up maybe 20 yards before i lost traction and slid back down
finally some guy in a ford truck decided to push me up the hill

i brought the car back, parked it with most of the damage on the street side so it wasnt to obvious and told the guy it wasnt really what i was looking for

oh, to be young and stupid again
