I actually thought of running a shop out of the barn for older than 1990 cars and call it Legends Repair
Hard to find anyone able to work on older cars so yea think it's a good idea.
Hard enough getting a front end alignment on a old car.

To freaking cold to snow, gotta warm up 20, 30 degrees before it can snow. Stars look really nice when it’s clear and -35 though

Think you need to do that CF bet you could stay busy in the shop having fun.
So Fred, have they froze and fallen off yet. Was close here yesterday. Boy the old wood pile is taking a **** kicking in the past couple weeks. BUT it’s still daylight at 6:15 pm gained an hour and 3/4 since Dec. So spring is on its way, I know it’s hard to be positive but we’re Almost there. Lmao

Haven't checked but I do know there not running low. LOL
-26 *F this morning and have 3 electric heaters running in the garage. I need to get a propane furnace in there.

If you remember I got the complete alignment machine with specs back to 1930 a few months ago
Used the model A mechanic’s hand book to do my coupe. Steers good doesn’t wear tires but what a messed up system for setting it up. Start at point A proceed to point B each measurement depends on the last, something I learned in construction that never works. All measurements come from point A otherwise your tolerances add up to grief. But got it done and drives nice.

Good morning. My main reason for building myself a full collection of shop equipment is you can’t trust these so called mechanics today. When replaced the whole front end on my daily including springs they had the alignment so screwed up I asked if I could use the rack to fix it. They did allow me to go in back and show the guy how to do it. The lady my son just got the 06 truck from paid a garage to come look at it and they quoted her for a starter but it was just a dead battery.

I have QA1 complete front suspension on Scamp and the guy did a pretty good job but after 4,000 miles left front tire is showing ware on the inside edge I checked to see if I could adjust the upper A arm but it's already maxed out.

I bought a wall fan to vent the garage just gotta install it and putting up a curtain to keep the dust and fumes in one area.
My insurance company wants my wood stove 18”” off the floor I raised it to 2’. In my years have found out the government building codes mean ****. You follow what your insurance company says, their paying if something happens

Careful with the propane and your fumes, maybe electric furnace
I have a 7,000 Watt electric heater in the shop now and 2 small heaters to help and can keep the shop at 65* but cost around $175 a month when it's real cold.

My insurance co. said no wood stove or I would have one. I do have a pellet stove hooked up and can use that but about same price as electric.

Really doesn’t matter what you heat with it all costs your back or out of pocket. Look around that shop see what you have invested. Myself I listen to the insurance co.

Same here would hate it if they wouldn't pay for damage if I lost my shop after a fire.
