:lol: I had never even tried the stuff before I was 20sumthin. We did a flood control channel job right on the border near San Diego. I get down there to help set up our ready mix concrete plant and find it's in the middle of a farmer's field. What was growing in the field? Asparagus. Free Asparagus for an entire summer until the job was done :lol:

hard to beat free food

funny thing is, i dont like asparagus, but i my mom make a cream of asparagus soup that is awesome
 
Well what up guys first happy birthday, second **** is expensive, third asparagus gives you stinky pee but I love it ,grilled with olive oil and finished with corse salt , fourth Fred’s steak looked delicious, fifth the cars at the car show had an eclectic mix fantastic Pictures! What I miss :thumbsup:
 
Morning fellas and Happy Tuesday.
The storm came in as they said it would. Of course there are tons of idiots out there who don't slow down.
I'm guessing 5-6" so shouldn't be too bad to clear buy the looks of it out the window.
And to add insult to injury we're going to have another one sometime on the weekend.
Maybe this one will pass us.

Btw this is my wife's aunt at age 85 on top of the CN Tower (1855 ft high).
She passed at 94 but she was a great person and loved family

I just found out there's an actual clinical name for when you can't sleep at night and you just eat instead.

It's called insom-nom-nom-nom-nomnia

She had 7 kids and beat cancer twice but loved life to the fullest.
She had two sister die within 6 months and I think it took all the wind out of her sails.
Too bad they're weren't more like her
 
Hi Guys.... I was right we got about 5" but it was packing snow.
Got the driveway and sidewalks done then my wife and I went shopping.
Off to the Optometrist at 4:30 to see if she can get my eye sorted out. Pissing me off.
One minute it's fairly clear the next blurry. She checked my eyes thoroughly and said everything looks great.
I may have to go to the Ophthalmologist who did the cataract surgery. They'll get it sorted out. Both are very good

Got my famous homemade canned chilli tonight for dinner because I'm lazy. Weather change a coming.
 
So got my 2012 Mazda 6 all cleaned up and posted on Bizman waiting for them to approve my post. I hate selling it been a damn good car but I need to get my teeth fixed and really only need one car for a daily driver.

That is iether a really cheap car, or you got some terrible teeth

Like I mentioned before, my advice is to buy supplemental insurance to cover the dental work
(Do your homework, make sure the numbers add up)
Then get it all done in a year, and then drop the insurance

It's a good $6000 car nothing wrong with it and yes my teeth are so bad that what I have left if I don't get them pulled soon I will be sick.
Long story on why I didn't get them fixed sooner but my kids are most important.

Will they be do fillings and caps or removing them?
My good friend was walking up his driveway and both hands loaded and he tripped and did a full face plant. Broke his nose in two places and broke some teeth. His teeth weren't the best but they took them all out. Out of the 16 teeth he had 9 of them were broken. So now he has teeth like stars, they come out at night
 
So welcome to the first day of March. Our weather sucks right now so like the old saying "In like a lion out like a lamb". Hope it's true.
More snow coming on Friday into Saturday. Could be 6-12".
