The Brat in Law invited me to a BBQ that his dad's employer was having at a commercial building they had just completed constructing. I knew his dad somewhat so I knew what was on the fire, Tri Tip of course. I went to the market and gathered up a bunch of asparagus, got it all cleaned up and off I went. They looked at me like I was nutz when I asked them for some room on the pit and opened the cooler full of asparagus :wtf: By the time I got it olive oiled and sprinkled with BBQ rub and gave it some grill marks and some oak smoke, that stuff didn't last 5 minutes before they had consumed it all

Bet it was and if you ever make it to my place the BBQ grill is yours to cook whatever ya want.

I went to visit one of my homies in the desert "I'll bring some Tri Tips. We'll BBQ"
He had a gas BBQ at his new place, surprise to me. I get the meat out of the cooler

Hollandaise sauce on the asparagus? Love that stuff. It grows wild around here.
Here as well, I have a horse radish patch growing beside the house ground never freezes there so fresh horseradish anytime. Holy looked at temp this morning-7C it’s a scorcher out there. Better check out the AC might need it this afternoon. Clouds rolled in probably going to do something stupid like snow. Not much you can do.

Morning Guys and Happy Monday. Not much left of February now.
Big storm coming in tonight over to Tuesday.
Lets hope this will finally break it's back and bugger off.
March starts on Wednesday

I've found adding a little olive oil to 'sparagus makes them slide so much easier from the plate into the trashcan
