since you brought it up, what would be a fair price for 2 new rust patches around the rear wheel wells, installation and paint?
(i think its delmonico red pearl)
I charged the guy $1000.00 a side. Virtually identical repairs. His is silver. He provided the panels. Just the outers and that was a screaming deal.

View attachment 1716079931 Mark had his Daughter make these vinyl stickers for the tip jars on the old truck.
Thank you buddy for contributing. Give your daughter a thank you for me she made them fit perfect. I'll post a picture when I get them on.
You're welcome. I sent them to you at great expense lololol

Wouldn't that be blue smoke?
White smoke is a sign of Anti-freeze I've always believed.
Is there a sweet smell in the air?
Truck is always in the garage and it's hard to ventilate the smoke out and not sweet smell more of a catalytic converter kinda smell.

Pictures would help and is the inner wheel well rusty?
ill grab some pics later, im not sure if it made it into the inner well aswell

sounds like it

i am not sure if i was quoted the inners aswell, but with the shop ordering the panels, they wanted to charge me 1500 per side

not sure if the paint makes a difference in price or not

Paint makes a difference mostly if it's a tri coat color. Body person is good at what he does and cheaper than a body shop I'm sure.

Go to the next visitation in town and see if you can get a decent pair. They won't need them

check your spark plugs first if they look brand new or really white chances are they have been steam cleaned
Think new cars looks steam cleaned anyway but first photo is #1 and after fighting to get the plug wire off I took the plug out with my fingers. Not good. see the oil on the spark plug threads.

No oil leak from the valve cover.

Hey guys.
Been a sunny but cold windy day.
I did get out and cut the grass though
I cut the front and sat for 15 minutes then cut the back.
Wasn't bad for the first time this year

Sorry to see you guys on the Prairies will be getting hit. Some in Northern Ontario will get it too.
I assume that'll include you too Fred. As if you guys don't have enough.
That's just adding insult to injury
