Yeah. The car was so heavily modified for drag racing I skipped the temptation of attempting to restore back to original. Besides, it's 440 6-pack and trans long gone. (Yeah, it a V-code, 4-speed car.) Who knew the explosion in prices for these cars?

So still a Pro Street project. But?

Me too. Lol. That's if it doesn't kill me. 1200 HP 904ci DOHC monster on pump 91 gas. Even 5-7 lbs of boost with higher octane would push it to 2k HP.

What could go wrong?

Think I'd stay with 1,200 HP so I don't **** myself. Need to keep it a sleeper I think. going to piss off a bunch of new car guys for sure.

Yeah. There is no sence, except that the engine is 5" wider than a Gen II hemi. And the E- body is 5" wider than my A-body. And ran into the same issues the early drag racers did with trying to stuff a Hemi in an A-body. Shock towers in the way of exhaust. Unless I plum forward? So why not to a couple turbos I ask?

I'm so going to die with this. Starvation due to lack of funding. Or car wrapped around something.

I'm retired and keep having to go back to work just to stay out of the red without a project. Yea I hear ya buddy.

My barber has a 71 Grand Prix SJ. Bought it brand new. 455 and it has a factory 8-track that's mounted between the two front seat backrests. Never seen one of those before. Debating whether he wants to sell it or not. Been in his garage for at least 10 years.

Toronto police just shut down a car theft ring yesterday. The value of the cars is just over 27 million dollars, All high end stuff stolen in Toronto. The cars were stolen and then to be shipped to Montreal to be shipped over seas.
They even had teenagers involved. Not only cars but stolen converters etc.
Throw the book at them, lock em up and throw away the keys

if your terms and prisons are anything like ours, it will be no detterent
ever since the bleeding hearts got it in their heads that prison is to be rehabilitative it has lost all purpose

Well did the dentist thing this afternoon and when I got home I was able to solder a leaking fuel line and replace the hydraulic lines on the little diesel that I just did the tires on. Hopefully it will make the field this spring.

Dealership I work at had the catalytic converters cut out of 10 trucks over the winter causing about $75000 dollars worth of damage.They we’re a well organized group of thieves, managing to avoid the security patrols.We also had a demo stolen from a hotel in the GTA near the airport. It was recovered about 2 months later at a port in Montreal.It had about $10000 damage to the dash,radio,wiring harness etc.RJ
