Morning guys.
I been helping a guy with his 72 Cuda. He tried to put a doorglass in it and of course BOOM.
He cleaned the door out of broken glass and separated all the hardware. Took all the guides out then called med me OH YAY!!! been trying to figure out what and where everything goes.
What a nightmare. Looked on Google and even have the Chrysler shop book. That's as clear as mud.
Ready to throw in the towel. I told him if you get it sorted out and I'll gladly come over and adjust it for you.
Happy Hump Day fellas and a beautiful day it will be and there's the Cuda sitting in the garage waiting for an alignment on Friday
Nothing more frustrating than trying to put something together that someone else tore apart.

I dont understand why people tear things apart that wont remember how to put them back. In todays world it is easy to snap pics before teardown.
so true CF. Did that when I pulled the window regulators out of my scamp.
Might still have the pictures on my phone.

Sounds like fun Murray took mine out not long ago but tried to keep the rubber off the road to save on having to buy new tires . lol
polished mine with the buffer now cleaning and waxing it for the long trip.
I kinda agree but all fun costs smiles per mile is what the Dart gets a lot of lmao

Well good morning to you guys , fire practice has switched over to wild land training now getting ready for urban interface fire and structural protection, always something to learn and keep up on . Getting hot here 30c on the weekend

Another gorgeous day.
So after all the screwing around with the window, the guy just phoned me and said he put the old glass back in the door. It had a scratch on it so decided to change it. He got it from Classic Industries.
So before he changed over the old glass he laid one on top of the other and the shape was way out. So we fought with this dam thing basically for two days to find out the shape was wrong. Never in my life have I seen anything like this and who would have thunk it. Probably came from China is my guess.
Now I just have to find time to adjust it for him. Friday is definitely out. My Cuda has priority lol

Home from work and exhausted so the rest of the day is doing nothing.
Happy hump day guys I'll try to get over the hump sometime tomorrow.

Morning guys.
Watching the weather Liar at suppertime and he said we've had smoke over us that's coming from Alberta.
I remember quite a few years ago there was a huge fire on the west coast. Can't remember if it was California or from BC. You could really smell the smoke here from it though.
Heading over at 10 to adjust the doorglass and hope I never see another one lol

Home from work so 3 days off and work a few days next week and back to being retired for a few weeks.

What a gorgeous day yesterday.
Finally got that Cuda door glass done. The owner decided to put the old glass back in. He showed me the pictures he had. He put the one door glass down and the other one right on top and I'm not kidding when I say there was a 1/2" difference.
The old one basically just dropped in and I had the window set up and adjusted in around 30 minutes
What a piss-off. He'll be getting in touch with Classic Industries to return it.
We had almost 11 hours into this whole thing.
He asked what he owed me I said nothing it was nice to make another Mopar Friend. He said I have to give you something so I said if the ice cream truck is at the car show on Sunday you can buy me one.
A real nice couple
