well the 29 truck is almost a legal concession stand most of the paper work is done, Health inspector will be looking at it next month and have 3 shows booked in June.
Got most of the supplies yesterday doing hot dogs with bacon, chips, pop and water.
Still need a apron and hat that fits with the truck. Think this venture is going to be fun and make some good money.

I wish you the very best, you've put a good amount of work and thought into this, and deserve to have it be profitable.

I get to spend my day continuing to chase electrical gremlins on the shitbox. Seems that it has decided that 16 volts is the new 14, been boiling the **** out of the battery, got acid in the tray and all over the frame rail. Should have let it ******* burn last year when the ignition shorted out and started an electrical fire.
So far I have found that the previous idiot did a half assed version of the MAD bypass, but that's just the tip of the iceberg in the wiring harness so far.
Sometimes the wipers work, sometimes they don't, and same with turn signals, heater fan, etc.
I once had a tremendous amount of patience, but it seems like it has all been used up. Good thing I have a wiring schematic.

50 cents and a book of matches will fix anything

Had a 96 Ford F-150 full load. Wiring harness caught fire. Never caught truck on fire not because of anything I did or didn’t do. I just stood there hoping. Went Autopac ( our public insurance) thinking oh ya is a write off, no the stupid *** fixed it $6300 to replace the entire harness. I questioned it, then he spent a week investigating it because he thought I did it on purpose. Turns out ford had a recall on that. My serial number never had the recall done. Things that make you go hmmmm

Both my wife and I had a bad cold a number of weeks ago. I've had this dry cough ever since. Feels like I'm going to cough a lung up sometimes. I don't know if you guys south of us have Buckley's Cough Medicine or not.
Their company moto is "It takes awful and it's works".
Well they didn't mince words, it tastes like Vicks Vapor Rub and smells like it too.
BTW I've never tasted Vicks but I'm sure they would taste the same.
Been another gorgeous day and my wife is in her element in the garden. She sure puts her heart and sole into it

Did you go after Ford for not notifying you? It is the law you know and they can be fined. The dealership that originally sold it is responsible for notifying the owners is the way I understand it

Bought the truck with 45000 k on from a ford dealer, maybe the original owner got notified I didn’t and why didn’t Autopac go after ford or the dealer that sold me the truck? With the same zeal he did when he thought I did it. No matter though ran the truck up to 580,000 k never put a nickel in to it except oil tires belts and gas so it didn’t owe me anything

You should have been notified if the recall was considered a safety issue, which it should have been. I had a 2003 F150 Supercrew that I bought in 2013, had around 200k on it and I got a recall notice from Ford to replace the fuel tank straps. I also had a 2006 Grand Marquis that the headlights quit working on, found out there was s recall on it, contacted the dealer and got it done.
Don't get me started on Autopac, government scam if there ever was.

Yea I haven't attached mine yet so going to have to figure it out.
Pound! could ya show us a picture of your A?
Not very complete, but it's gonna be a '30 coupster with a '32 grille. Motor is a Toyota 2TC from a '70's Corolla. Motor looks exactly like half a Chrysler hemi!

Had a 96 Ford truck in the body shop years ago with a manual transmission that when I pulled it in the shop to work on it I left it in 1st gear and shut it off. Got in front of it to repair the front end and for some reason the damn starter engaged and almost pinned me against my tool box. Think that's why I hate working on a Ford.

Nice I had a few Toyota's with the 2TC and a great engine.
Looks like a nice ride and hope to see it someday. I'm in a small town of Bisbee north of you close to the boarder. Keep in touch.

I was wondering what part of ND you were in! Hoping to make a few shows this year. Probably will be driving my '46 binder, though!
